APPLICATION PROCESS
The application must be completed in one sitting. You will not be able to save an uncompleted application to finish later. The following will be needed to complete the application.
- Department Preferences. The application requires that you choose two departments that match your passion and gifts.
- Short Essay (300-500 words). Explain how an internship with the Kenneth Acha Foundation relates to your future goals and aspirations. Your essay should include experiences and skills you have acquired that make you a strong candidate for the internship position. In addition, your essay should explain why you have chosen the two specific areas of interest and departments.
- Short Biography (100-200 words). Briefly describe your background and personal history.
- Current Resume or CV
- Writing Sample (2-5 pages). This could be a short essay, the beginning of an academic paper, a well-done blog post, or any other non-academic writing from your past. It should be a sample that you believe demonstrates your ability to write clearly, persuasively, and cohesively.
- Names, email addresses and telephone numbers of two references.
