Cosponsor a Child

You can answer the call to care for the orphaned child in their time of need
Cosponsor a Child Today

How child cosponsorship works

  1. Your giving enables us to serve more children in need
Orphaned or vulnerable children in Cameroon are discovered in the community and selected into our program as sponsors become available.
  2. Your giving helps a cosponsored child to be part of a family
God created children to live in families! Our first desired choice is to reunify these orphaned children with some biological relatives and work to strengthen their family of origin. This could be an auntie, grandma, brother, etc. If none can be found and relied upon, we then partner with churches and individuals in Cameroon to find local adoptive/foster families who, just like you, are responding to the call to care for orphans in their time of need.
  3. You join hands with our staff and locals in Cameroon to help these children
Because of our child cosponsors, families all over Cameroon are empowered to join in and help care for orphans right where they are. These families willingly take in children in our program to live with them and care for their basic needs. Our child cosponsors then help cover more expensive needs like school fees, books, and medical costs that would otherwise overwhelm these poor families. This partnership has blessed local Christians tremendously and is giving them the opportunity to participate in fighting back against the orphan crisis right in their own land.
  4. Our staff on the ground in Cameroon visit the children and families regularly
Our staff ride near and far – in taxis through the city or on the back of motorcycles through dense jungles – just to visit children and their families. This is how they get updates, ensure quality care, offer emotional and spiritual guidance, and spread the gospel.

What your $35/month cosponsorship provides

Family & Support

This occurs through our local Christian Adoption & Foster Care Program or Kinship Program. Like Ezekiel’s adoptive/foster family who took him into their hearts and home. He’s now a son and a big brother!

Education

Your donations pay tuition and provide books for our sponsored children. Yanick was able to continue in school to pursue his dreams of being a medical doctor one day.

Medical Care

Your funds provide medical care to all our sponsored children. Just like Genesis who received the surgery he needed to be able to walk again. He can now run, play, dance, and follow his dreams.

Advocacy for Orphans

Through events and fundraisers, we advocate for children’s needs to be met using the “asset-based-community development” (ABCD) model.

Discipleship & Missions

Discipleship is an important part of our work. That is why we have local volunteers, missionaries, and pastors who visit with children in their area to teach, mentor, and disciple.

Food, Clothing, & Shelter

Children who currently live in our transition home need extra special care. Just like Mary and Isaac, who were discovered as infants on the brink of death from malnourishment and neglect. They received special clothing, care, and baby formula to nurse them back to health.

Vocation & Job Training

Some children are more suitable for job training and we help sponsor them through a training program instead. Like Kevin, who struggled at first with traditional schooling but found his passion in carpentry! He loves making furniture and wants to be a famous carpenter one day.

Passionate Orphan Care Workers

We are able to have loving, caring, and passionate people helping care for and disciple these children. For example, our child advocates travel deep into the bush to visit children and families in our program, encourage them spiritually, and deliver gifts and letters from cosponsors.

Our organization is a missions organization whose mission is to inspire and empower people to shape their destinies. All our staff both in the U.S. and Cameroon are missionaries who dedicate themselves to serving God by helping orphans and doing the work of teaching and training.  All the childcare money we receive goes into one fund and is used to fulfill the mission of the organization. When you donate or sponsor a child, you become part of providing a future filled with hope and joy to a child in need.
